Shipping and delivery

We ship Australia-wide from distributor warehouses in every mainland state. This page explains when your order leaves, what it costs, and what to do when something goes wrong in transit.

Dispatch times

Orders placed before 2pm on a business day are dispatched the same day, provided the warehouse holding the goods has them in stock. Orders placed after 2pm, on a weekend, or on a public holiday are dispatched the next business day.

Stock levels shown on a product page are live figures from our distributors, refreshed through the day. They are accurate at the moment you load the page, but stock can sell out between your order and the warehouse picking it. If that happens we will contact you with an expected date and you can wait or cancel for a full refund.

Delivery estimates

Transit time depends on the distance between the dispatching warehouse and your address:

Destination Typical transit
Metro Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth 1–3 business days
Regional centres 2–5 business days
Remote and outer regional areas 5–10 business days
Tasmania and Northern Territory 3–7 business days

These are carrier estimates, not guarantees. We do not control the carrier network and cannot promise a delivery date, though we will always tell you what the carrier has told us.

Delivery costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout from the weight and dimensions of your order and your delivery postcode. You see the exact figure before you pay — we do not add freight after the fact.

Delivery is free on orders over $1,000 to metropolitan addresses. Bulky items (large-format displays, racks, full desktop systems) and remote-area addresses may attract a surcharge, which is shown at checkout.

Split shipments

Because orders ship from the warehouse holding each item, an order with several products may arrive in more than one delivery, sometimes on different days. You are charged one delivery fee for the order, not one per parcel. Each parcel gets its own tracking number.

Tracking your order

We email a tracking number as soon as the carrier collects your parcel. You can also see the status of any order in your account under Orders.

Addresses and authority to leave

We deliver to street addresses and business addresses. We cannot deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers for most items, because our carriers require a signature.

If nobody is available to sign, the carrier will leave a card and take the parcel to a depot or collection point. We do not offer authority-to-leave on unattended deliveries: an unsigned parcel that disappears from a doorstep is not covered by the carrier, and we would rather you collected it than lost it.

Damaged or missing deliveries

Inspect your parcel when it arrives. If the packaging is visibly damaged, note it with the driver if you can, and contact us within 7 days at support@pcmegamart.com.au with photographs of the packaging and the contents. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

If tracking shows delivered and you do not have the parcel, tell us within 7 days and we will open an investigation with the carrier.

Returns

Faulty goods, incorrect goods and change-of-mind returns are covered on our Warranty and returns page, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
