Product Description
Overview
- The Aruba 9000 Series Gateways are versatile enterprise edge appliances designed specifically for the increasing demands of mobile, IoT, and cloud applications on branch and remote networks. With enterprise-grade yet compact form factors, the Aruba 9000 Series can be easily deployed for SD-WAN and threat protection in order to simplify WAN management and enhance security. The Aruba 9000 Series also serves a key role within Aruba’s Dynamic Segmentation solution, providing unified policy enforcement for all wired and wireless traffic in the branch at the access layer. For added flexibility, the gateway can also support WLAN environments to deliver enhanced performance and resiliency.
Features
- The Aruba 9000 Series Gateways have the ability to connect up to 2,048 clients, which is up to 80 times that of typical SD-WAN appliances.
- Optimized IoT cloud connectivity with WAN-specific optimization.
- Improved client visibility with integrated device profiling, and the option for advanced insights when integrated with ClearPass Policy Manager or ClearPass Device Insight.
- New Threat Defense Service provides integrated intrusion detection and protection (IDS/IPS) to enhance security for remote and branch networks.
- Aruba 9000 Series Gateways converges branch wired and wireless access through a single point for IPS/IDS and policy enforcement.
- Unify overall policy management across all branch networks with ClearPass Policy Manager.
- Eliminate port-based configurations by introducing role-based context for users and devices, and realtime application bandwidth and usability enforcement.
- The Aruba 9000 Series Gateways provide up to 6 Gbps of throughput, which is up to 10 times that of typical SD-WAN appliances.
- Aruba Central provides rich insights into branch traffic sent across WAN uplinks like 5G or wired connections based on application, WAN health, and priority.
- Aruba Central makes it easy to connect to cloud services, which includes multi-cloud operations with Microsoft® Azure® and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
