Overview
- Are you looking for accelerating application workloads for the modern data center ecosystem? The HPE SN1700E 64Gb Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapters are designed for demanding mission-critical workloads and emerging applications. It supports HPE ProLiant and HPE Apollo servers with PCI-Express I/O slots to connect to HPE storage all-flash and NVMe-based arrays using the 64/32/16 Gb Fibre Channel (GFC) protocol. Compared to the previous generation, the HPE SN1700E FC HBAs offers higher bandwidth, better latency, enhanced security, and operational efficiency for 64 GFC. It provides seamless backward compatibility to 32 GFC, 16 GFC, and 8 GFC networks. When using storage-intensive applications, such as backup/restore, database transactions, virtualization, and rich media, the increased performance of the 64 GFC infrastructure enables rapid storage and retrieval of critical information.
